Flourish Beyond Therapy was created primarily for girls and women who are tired of dealing with low self-esteem and codependency. My clients are competent, strong, and full of potential, but they don’t believe this about themselves when they first start meeting with me. They usually believe themselves to be incompetent, inadequate, and unwanted. Girls who I have met with find themselves walking into school feeling isolated; they’re not accomplishing what they’re capable of academically, and they are fearful of joining any new group or speaking up in class because they don’t want to make a mistake and embarrass themselves. Women who I have met with find themselves making decisions based on the needs and wants of everyone around them without considering their own needs and wants; they are not achieving what they would like to personally or professionally, and they are constantly searching for outside approval.
